On behalf of the Leadership of George Gordon First Nation, we are pleased to announce the dates for COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT and READINGS of our DRAFT proposed enactment of the “George Gordon First Nation Land Code.” Additionally, we will be discussing the “Individual Agreement” with Canada.
WHAT IS IT? GGFN is taking back control of 5 parcels of TLE land and creating a GGFN Law to manage these and future lands. As well as negotiating a transfer of administration of these lands from Canada back to our lands department. Members will be asked to vote on whether to approve the law and agreement.
