The Medical Transportation Driver will provide safe, respectful, courteous and reliable transportation for George Gordon First Nation band membership or clients who require transportation to attend medical appointments. The Medical Transportation Driver will work closely and report any transportation concerns to the Medical Transportation Coordinator.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a friendly, safe, courteous and respectful service to all George Gordon First Nation community members and clients that are transported to any medical appointments on the medical transportation van
- Transport George Gordon First Nation community members and clients to and from Regina and/or Lestock for medical appointments
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Abide all driving and highway rules and regulations
- Adhere to the George Gordon Personnel Policy, and other related Policy at all times
- Collect all Certificate of Medical Attendance forms from George Gordon First Nation community members and clients and submit to the Medical Transportation Coordinator on a daily basis
- Other related duties as assigned by Manager of Health Services or designated
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have and maintain a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s License
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Must be reliable and trustworthy
- Must have demonstrated ability to work independently and to accept direction and supervision
- Must be in good physical health demonstrated by a doctor’s certificate

- Based on work experience, training and education
