It has come to our attention that some people are fraudulently cashing cheques twice. In such a case the bank is notified, and the fraudulent amount is taken out of your account which means your account will be overdrawn unless you have extra monies to cover the amount. The amount of the fraudulent action is then taken, by the bank, off your next deposit to cover your overdraft. It doesn’t matter which bank you deal with as all banks work together.
Be aware that this is a fraudulent act, and IT WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE RCMP.
