Summary:
The purpose of the Treaty Land Entitlement (TLE) Board is to assist the George Gordon First Nation Band Council in the acquisition of Entitlement Lands and consideration of Band Development projects under the terms of the George Gordon Treaty Land Entitlement Settlement and Trust Agreements. Depending on the amount of land acquired in any given year, the TLE Board of Directors may be required to meet on an average of once a month.
Requirements:
To be considered for appointment to the TLE Board, individuals shall be required to meet the following criteria:
➢ Must be a registered member of the George Gordon First Nation
➢ Must be 18 years of age or older
➢ Must provide a current completed Criminal Records Check (CPIC) from a recognized police authority
➢ Must possess knowledge of George Gordon Treaty Land Entitlement Settlement and Trust Agreements
➢ Must possess good oral and written communication skills
➢ Must submit an application that is a resume with a typed cover letter indicating how their experience and training may be of benefit to the George Gordon First Nation and contribute to the TLE Board
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
